This academic seminar will focus on discussing the development of "intelligent high-performance rare earth permanent magnet motor" under the dual carbon background, and show the latest technology development trend and research achievements in the field of rare earth permanent magnet motor. It aims to further strengthen the cooperation and exchange in the field of permanent magnet motors and permanent magnet materials, and better promote the technical progress and industrial development of China's permanent magnet motors and permanent magnet materials industry.

In the seminar, Marketing Director Dong Jiwen made a report entitled "New Technology Development Frontier of Permanent Magnet Drive Motor", introduced the development history and technical characteristics of permanent magnet motor, as well as the application status of permanent magnet motor in belt conveyor, slag vertical mill, ball mill, elevator and other equipment and application cases in various industries, and pointed out the future development direction of permanent magnet motor drive technology.

Professor Guo Yongmei and his delegation pointed out that "industrial motors consume a lot of energy, accounting for 60% of the power consumption of the whole society. Compared with ordinary motors, permanent magnet motors made of permanent magnets can save about 20% of the power, and are praised as" energy saving artifact "in the industry. During the "Fourteenth Five Year Plan" period, the main goals of economic and social development include: remarkable achievements in green transformation of production and lifestyle, more rational allocation of energy resources, significant improvement in utilization efficiency, and reduction of energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions per unit of GDP by 13.5% and 18% respectively. At present, permanent magnet motors account for less than 15% of the motor industry in the domestic market. Therefore, the market scale of permanent magnet motor will be huge in the next 5-10 years.
